The Graduate Mentorship Program is a unique educational and service opportunity that supports you in implementing the principles of yoga to create positive change in your community. This program is designed to support yoga teachers interested in developing a professional specialization and become leaders in the field of yoga service. Working in conjunction with the Yoga Mala Foundation the Graduate Mentorship Program also provides assistance with job placement, program development, and provides unique practicum opportunities with Yoga Mala Foundation’s affiliated social outreach organizations.
Who is the Graduate Mentorship Program for?
This program serves as a graduate level to Naada Yoga’s 500 HR program and provides students with an additional 100 HR specialized training making the entire 600 HR program a 2 year study. Students who have a recognized 200 HR training may complete the Graduate Mentorship Program along with completion of Naada Yoga’s 300 HR Advanced Training. The Mentorship Program is customizable to meet your needs and support your interests. Applicants will have an initial consultation to determine what path best supports their needs based on their area of interest and experience level.
Research
Participants will research, design and implement a yoga service program unique to their interests, working under the guidance of their mentor. The aim of this research is to create a tangible outlet for your yoga education that can serve as a foundational program that you may implement upon graduation. Your graduate research project may also serve as the first step in receiving funding for your program or finding job placement in one of Yoga Mala Foundations’s ongoing initiatives.
